HeavyConfetti is the name of a “virtual band,” the sonic muse of norelpref. Mr. pref grew up listening to too much jazz and prog rock and hence does far too much “widdling” (as the Brits say) on the guitar in most of his work. He is decidedly influenced by the guitar stylings of Allan Holdsworth, John McLaughlin, and Robert Fripp as well as 20th Century Classical Music.
